Oregon Toyota Customers Class Action Lawsuit

Richard Freeman files this class action on behalf of himself and other Oregon customers who were sold a 2017 Tacoma pickup truck in the past year without being told about its known transmission defect.

Toyota can avoid paying any damages in this case by immediately changing its business practices to comply with Oregon law, giving refunds to Mr. Freeman and any other Oregon customer who requests one, and by covering Mr. Freeman’s litigation expenses to date. If Toyota refuses to do the right thing, Mr. Freeman will have no choice but to amend this complaint to add claims for actual and statutory and punitive damages.
